Great News for Tulum Real Estate: Official Map of Tulum Airport Bypass
Last update 24 January, 2011
The state of Quintana Roo released the projected map and location of the Tulum bypass and the route to the coming Riviera Maya International Airport.
Developers, land owners, vacationers, and most importantly, residents, are also going to benefit from having a busy federal highway that cuts Tulum in half right now, be moved out of the city.
In a much anticipated move, the state of Quintana Roo released the projected map and location of the Tulum bypass and the route to the coming Riviera Maya International Airport. When traveling south down federal highway 307 from Cancun and Playa del Carmen, you will soon see a bypass just south of Akumal that will take you to the planned airport and around the growing and vibrant new city that is Tulum. The bypass will reconnect with federal highway 307 further south, out of Tulum's city limits.
This project has 2 very distinct goals. The bypass aims to alleviate traffic on federal highway 307 through Tulum and to provide access to the new Riviera Maya airport. Dozens of Tulum condo and home owners, restaurant, condominium, and hotel owners who have properties and businesses along the 307 corridor through Tulum have eagerly awaited this proactive foresight by the government and city planners.
Developers, land owners, vacationers, and most importantly, residents, are also going to benefit from having a busy federal highway that cuts Tulum in half right now, be moved out of the city. Tulum will continue to connect and grow the established town with the jungle and future developments that will lead to Tulum's famous beaches.
